Nastassia Mimms is an interdisciplinary artist, speaker, and founder of The Edified Journey®, working at the intersection of artistic intelligence, business strategy, leadership, and human potential.

As a recording artist, songwriter, visual abstract artist, published author, motivational speaker, emcee, and creative visionary, Nastassia has built a body of work centered on a defining belief: what we carry within us has the power to shape what we create, how we lead, and the impact we make.

Her perspective is informed by more than 25 years of professional experience spanning sales, management, training and development, and high-touch client engagement. A Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Nastassia brings an uncommon dual lens to her work—the strategic discipline to understand systems and performance, coupled with the creative intelligence to imagine what could exist beyond them.

Having spent formative years living across multiple countries, she also brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for culture, people, and human connection. Whether speaking to leaders, creating on canvas, writing music, authoring books, or curating experiences, Nastassia uses creativity as a vehicle for connection, discovery, and transformation.

Her faith in Christ is foundational to both her life and creative expression. It informs her commitment to purpose, integrity, encouragement, and the belief that every individual carries distinct gifts worthy of discovery and development. Her work invites people to look beyond convention, reconnect with what is within them, and leverage their gifts with intention.

That philosophy extends to The Edified Journey®, the experiential platform she founded to bring people across industries and disciplines together through curated in-person and virtual experiences. Through conversation, artistic expression, intentional connection, and thought leadership, The Edified Journey® creates space for people to connect, create, and be inspired.

Across every medium, Nastassia’s work carries the same invitation: discover what you carry, give it expression, and let your gift lead.

Music has been a constant throughout my life. I sing from a deeply personal place—expressing my love for God and reflecting on His faithfulness through lived experience. My faith is unapologetically at the foundation of who I am, and it remains a powerful source of inspiration for the music I create.

My musical journey began early, performing across diverse settings—from show choir and academic productions to military services, church choirs, sporting events, and large public venues. Each experience strengthened my voice, sharpened my discipline, and deepened my understanding of music as a powerful vehicle for connection.

Long before I entered a recording studio, I carried the vision of becoming a recording artist. Completing my debut EP, Adonai Refresh, transformed that vision into something tangible. It was more than a musical milestone—it was a moment where preparation met purpose, faith required action, and what had been hidden was finally revealed.
